Maine and New Hampshire amusement parks set to close for 2026 season

Many amusement and water parks in Maine and New Hampshire are scheduled to close for the 2026 season in September.

In Maine, notable locations including Palace Playland, Funtown, Splashtown, York's Wild Kingdom, and Aquaboggan are expected to conclude their operations as the autumn season approaches.

New Hampshire parks such as Canobie Lake Park, Water Country, and Whale's Tale Water Park also face September closures. However, some long-standing establishments like Santa's Village and Story Land may maintain select opening dates after the summer concludes.
