Maine colleges featured in Forbes national rankings

Several Maine institutions have appeared in the latest annual Forbes national rankings for colleges and universities. The rankings utilize various metrics, including academic performance and student life, to evaluate thousands of American schools.

Bowdoin College in Brunswick is the highest-ranked institution in the state, placing in the top 40. Other notable performers include Colby College at 71, Bates College at 100, Maine Maritime Academy at 366, and College of the Atlantic at 488.
