Maine-et-Loire opens applications for 2026 home care awards
The Maine-et-Loire Department has opened applications for the fourth edition of the Trophées des métiers du domicile. This initiative aims to recognize and reward professionals working in home care services for the elderly and vulnerable populations in the Anjou region.
Professionals have until September 20, 2026, to submit projects or innovative practices. This year’s competition features three specific categories: ‘helping to break away from the daily routine,’ ‘raising awareness of the art of the table,’ and ‘building trust.’ These categories are designed to highlight human and social dimensions of care, such as reducing isolation, fostering social connections during meals, and strengthening relationships between caregivers, clients, and their families.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 10, 2026, at the Centre de Congrès in Angers, following the Salon du Bien Vie. Winning projects will receive rewards valued between 250 and 300 euros, and a ‘Public Favorite’ award will also be presented.
