Maine State Police arrest New Hampshire driver for reckless speeding
A 22-year-old New Hampshire man, Alexandre Forsythe, was arrested after driving erratically and at speeds exceeding 100 mph through Maine. The arrest followed more than a dozen 911 calls to the Bangor Regional Communications Center reporting the dangerous vehicle on I-295 in the Bowdoinham area.
Maine State Police used reports from callers, including updated mile markers, to track the vehicle's location. Troopers eventually intercepted the vehicle traveling northbound on I-95 in Waterville. Forsythe has been charged with Criminal OUI and Criminal Speed.
