Maine woman arrested for repeated burglary and trespassing
Darcelle Howard, 55, of Levant, Maine, has been arrested on multiple burglary and trespass charges following a series of incidents in the Bangor and Brewer areas.
In one incident, a Bangor homeowner discovered Howard sleeping in his bed after leaving his door unlocked while at work. Following that arrest, a property manager identified Howard from a booking photo, alleging she had previously entered an apartment building without permission, stolen clothing, and left a mess in an entryway.
Days after being released from custody for these actions, Howard was arrested again by the Brewer Police Department on North Main Street. Officers responded to a welfare check and found her inside a residence drinking coffee. Howard faces charges including burglary, criminal trespass, and violation of conditions of release. She was transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
