Maintal volunteers participate in World Cleanup Day

Approximately 60 volunteers participated in World Cleanup Day in Maintal, Germany, collecting litter from playgrounds, the municipal forest, and the banks of the Main river. The initiative involved seven different collection sites across all four districts of the city.

Following the cleanup, a concluding picnic was held on the banks of the Main, organized by the volunteer agency Maintal Aktiv. To promote sustainability and combat food waste, the Hanau/MKK foodsharing group provided rescued baked goods, including rolls, pastries, and cakes, for the participants.
