Maintenance work continues on Greece's Thessaloniki‑Moudania highway

Road maintenance on the National Road Thessaloniki–Moudania resumed on Monday, 6 July 2026 and is scheduled to run through Wednesday, 8 July 2026. The works include vegetation cutting on the road embankment and the temporary closure of the right‑hand lane in each direction between the Bulgari Road junction (km 6+200) and the N. Rysiou interchange (km 18+850).

In addition, urgent lighting maintenance is being carried out at the Sozopolis and Nea Triglias junctions, with partial right‑lane closures from 07:00 to 14:00. All activities are coordinated with the traffic departments of Thessaloniki, Therma and Moudania to ensure safe traffic flow, with some tasks beginning after 08:00 and lasting only brief intervals.
