Maipú to host international ceramics encounter in October

The sixth edition of the Manos de Barro ceramics encounter will take place at the Maipú Municipal Market on October 2 and 3. The event features artists from Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Attendees can participate in free workshops, talks, and live demonstrations covering various techniques, including traditional Mapuche pottery, wheel-throwing, stoneware, contemporary sculpture, and the use of local clays. The event aims to provide a space where craftspeople can share knowledge and traditions passed down through generations.
