Maira Morla Pineda recognized by CODOPYME for SME development contributions

The Dominican Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CODOPYME) has recognized Maira Morla Pineda, the Director General of the National Institute of Technical Professional Training (INFOTEP), for her professional career and contributions to human talent development and national competitiveness.

The distinction was presented during the inauguration of CODOPYME’s new Executive Committee for the 2026-2028 period, led by Fernando Pinales. CODOPYME highlighted Morla Pineda’s three decades of service and her leadership in aligning technical training with the specific needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to drive economic progress.

Upon receiving the award, Morla Pineda stated that the recognition belongs not only to her personally but also to the entire INFOTEP team. She emphasized the strong institutional link between INFOTEP and the SME sector through training initiatives designed to meet the demands of the national productive apparatus.
