Maira Rocha investigated for alleged psychography fraud in Brazil

Maira Rocha, founder of the Casa de Caridade Inácio Daniel in Águas Claras, is under investigation by the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) for alleged fraud involving psychographed letters.

Victims report that after providing sensitive personal data, they would wait between 21 and 68 days to receive letters presented as messages from deceased relatives. Complainants allege that this delay was used to gather information from social media, judicial processes, and other public sources to craft the messages.

A group of victims has filed a complaint stating that the letters contained meticulous details that appeared premeditated and aligned with information easily accessible online. Some victims also noted errors in the letters, such as incorrect kinship, non-existent names, and incompatible biographical references.
