Spanish municipalities launch diverse cultural and vocational programs

Various municipalities and regional authorities in Spain are launching diverse cultural, educational, and vocational programs for the 2026/2027 period.

In Jaén, the Junta de Andalucía has scheduled over fifty activities through the ‘Septiembre Cultural’ program, including workshops, guided tours, and theater cycles across several archaeological sites and museums. In Mairena del Aljarafe, the local government is offering 14 cultural workshops ranging from traditional crafts to modern fitness and music.

Educational and vocational initiatives are also expanding. The TEFUCAL project is opening registrations for specialized training in solar photovoltaic installation and maintenance across eight municipalities in the Campiña and Alcores regions of Seville. In Paterna, the municipality has doubled its free workshop offerings for adults and seniors, increasing capacity to 405 places to cover topics such as digital literacy and mindfulness.

Local community engagement continues through specialized activities, such as dance classes in Marchena led by Ana Belén López and new family-oriented ceramics and sculpture workshops in Fuengirola designed to foster intergenerational learning.
