Mairinque and Itaparica celebrate municipal anniversaries

Mairinque is celebrating its 136th anniversary of emancipation with a series of civic, religious, and cultural events. The schedule includes a civic ceremony at Praça das Bandeiras, a Thanksgiving Mass at the São José Parish, and the ‘Festeja Mairinque é Rock’ music festival. To ensure public safety and traffic organization, the city administration has announced partial closures of Avenida Mitsuke during various periods between October 27 and November 2.

In Itaparica, the 195th anniversary of political emancipation is marked by several infrastructure and public service inaugurations. Recent developments include the opening of the Manguinhos Family Health Unit, which provides basic medical services, nursing, and specialized care. Other improvements include the inauguration of the city’s first funeral home and various paving and drainage projects in the Cajazeira, Amoreiras, and Ponta de Areia localities to improve local circulation and quality of life.
