MAISON CACAO to open first Hokkaido permanent store in Sapporo

MAISON CACAO, a chocolate brand originating from Kamakura, will open its first permanent store in Hokkaido at the Daimaru Sapporo department store on October 21, 2026.

The opening features several exclusive products, including the ‘Kamakura Tart Tiramisu,’ which will be available only twice daily at 10:00 and 15:00. The tart is designed with a round shape reminiscent of a snow ‘kamakura’ and features coffee-scented milk cream and fresh cream.

Other specialty items include the ‘Chocolat Cielo,’ a new airy chocolate texture, and the ‘Nama Gateau Chocolat,’ a Hokkaido-exclusive version. The brand will also offer ‘Chocolat Coquille’ using local ingredients such as raspberries from Tokachi and melons from Furano. The brand is known for its ‘Aroma Nama Chocolate,’ which utilizes high moisture content to achieve a specific melting texture.
