Maitê Proença moves from Copacabana to a nature-focused home in Rio

Brazilian actress Maitê Proença has moved from her long-term residence in the Edifício Chopin in Copacabana to a house within a gated community in Rio de Janeiro. After living in the same apartment for 35 years, Proença sought a lifestyle closer to nature, featuring a large plot of land, a clean river, chickens, and a worm farm.

Proença clarified that she did not move to the mountainous Serrana region, choosing instead to remain in Rio de Janeiro to stay close to her family and four granddaughters. Her former apartment has been rented by comedian Fábio Porchat, whom she described as “very funny and kind.”
