During an appearance on Barbara Schöneberger’s podcast, ‘Frühstück mit Barbara’, Kelly suggested that substance use is a significant issue behind the scenes, contradicting suggestions that it is not a major topic in the genre.

Kelly also criticized contemporary pop music, describing it as ‘boring’ and overly ‘moral and politically correct’ compared to the Schlager scene. Additionally, she spoke openly about personal affairs and liaisons occurring among Schlager colleagues, noting that much happens behind the scenes that the public does not see.
