Maitland Park to host Toranafest with 518 classic cars
The biennial Toranafest is set to take place at Maitland Park this Sunday, September 20. The event will feature a display of 518 classic Holden Torana vehicles brought from across Australia.
Organized by the Hunter Valley Torana Club, the showcase includes special guests such as Australian motorsport figure Colin Bond. The event also features master mechanic Dave Mclean, who previously worked on vehicles for drivers like Bob Morris.
In addition to the car display, the event will host over 40 market sites, auctions, and raffles to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House in the Hunter. Entry to the event is free, though spectators are encouraged to donate dog food to Dog Rescue Newcastle.
