Maja Chwalińska and Kamila Szczawińska highlight mental‑health challenges in sport and modeling

Polish tennis player Maja Chwalińska, 24, reached the French Open final where she will face Russia's Mirra Andreeva. After pausing her career in 2021 because of depression, she returned to the tour and her progress was praised by former world No. 29 Urszula Radwańska, who called Chwalińska an inspiration for openly discussing mental‑health struggles.

Model Kamila Szczawińska spoke about her own career setbacks, recalling periods when she worked as a nanny in New York and admitted to moments of low productivity. She emphasized the need to acknowledge failures and normalise such experiences on social media, arguing that constant displays of success can harm self‑esteem.
