Polish tennis player Maja Chwalińska is facing challenges in maintaining her position within the WTA top 30. Following a period of recent struggles, including winning only one match in her last three tournaments, there are concerns regarding her ranking stability.

Artur Szostaczko, former coach to Iga Świątek, noted that Chwalińska faces a mathematical risk of dropping significantly in the rankings if she fails to defend the points earned at Roland Garros. If those points are lost, her ranking could fall into the 60s.

Despite these concerns, Chwalińska’s manager, Piotr Szczypka, expressed strong confidence in her ability to win more matches and maintain or improve her current standing. Meanwhile, former tennis player Marcin Matkowski highlighted her recent form as a point of discussion heading into the US Open.
