Maja Chwalińska secures Wimbledon wild‑card, attracts sponsors and hometown funding after Roland Garros final

Polish tennis player Maja Chwalińska reached the Roland Garros final, losing to Mirra Andreeva and climbing to world No. 21, which earned her a wild‑card for Wimbledon. Following the performance she received a surge of sponsorship interest, with talks of multi‑million‑zloty contracts and recent advertising work for brands such as Oral‑B and Oshee. She announced a post‑Wimbledon schedule that includes the WTA 250 event in Jassy (13‑19 July), a WTA 250 in Hamburg (20‑26 July), and upcoming WTA 1000 tournaments in Toronto and Cincinnati as preparation for the US Open.

Chwalińska was warmly welcomed in her hometown of Bielsko‑Biała, where the mayor and the Polish Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki, announced over 4 million zł of state funding for the modernisation of tennis facilities in Bielsko‑Biała and Bytom, including a new Motor Skills and Rehabilitation Centre. The investment aims to boost training infrastructure for young Polish players.
