Maja Chwalińska reaches Roland Garros final

Polish teenager Maja Chwalińska, ranked 114th in the world, defeated Russia's Diana Sznajder 7‑6(4), 6‑4 to book a place in the women’s singles final at the French Open. Commentators on TNT Sports praised her composure, variety of shots and particularly her drop shots, calling her the "queen of drop shots".

Chwalińska noted that she has no clothing sponsor, which is why she has worn a different outfit in each round. She also shared a light‑hearted superstition about her team eating pizza daily before matches. The 24‑year‑old said she is focusing on the final and plans to relax with tea, a TV series and some tennis afterward.
