Majatica Jazz Festival announces 10th edition in Ferrandina

The Majatica Jazz Festival will celebrate its tenth edition in Ferrandina, Matera, from August 10 to 14, 2026. Organized by the Municipality of Ferrandina with support from the Basilicata Region, the event will feature performances at Piazza Plebiscito and the Chiostro di San Domenico.

The program includes a tribute to John Coltrane on August 10, featuring a lecture and a performance by the Coltrane Legacy trio. Other scheduled acts include guitarist Frank Gambale performing with his Natural High Trio on August 11, and the return of the Italian super band production ‘Furious Night’ on August 12.
