Majida El Roumi closes Carthage International Festival
Lebanese singer Majida El Roumi performed at the Carthage International Festival to conclude its 60th edition. Her appearance at the historic Roman amphitheater marked a return to the stage 46 years after her first performance there.
Accompanied by a troupe of approximately 30 musicians and choristers directed by maestro Marco Abu Naoum, the singer performed a repertoire featuring classical Arabic poetry by authors such as Nizar Kabbani and Mahmoud Darwish. The event was attended by a large audience and various officials, including ministers, parliamentarians, and diplomats.
