Majka Jeżowska Opts for Fewer Concerts, Higher Fees

Polish singer‑songwriter Majka Jeżowska, now 66, said she prefers to work less often but command higher fees for the shows she does accept. In an interview she explained that after decades of intensive touring she no longer wants to perform daily during the summer, stating, "I prefer today to work less for more money than a lot for less."

She also noted that many artists of her generation did not earn enough to secure comfortable retirements, urging greater understanding of the financial challenges faced by performers. Jeżowska continues to appear selectively on Polish stages, emphasizing quality over quantity in her remaining engagements.
