Majo Delgadillo releases psychological novel ‘Ratones’

Mexican author Majo Delgadillo has released her novel ‘Ratones’, published by Lumen. The work is described as a psychological labyrinth that explores themes of obsession, desire, and violence through a distorted fairy tale lens.

Delgadillo explains that the novel was built from sensory images and sounds rather than a pre-defined plot. The central metaphor of the ‘rat king’—a phenomenon where rats become entangled by their tails—serves to represent how characters and emotions remain trapped together without the possibility of separation.
