Major anime and idol festivals announced for Tokyo in November 2026

Two large-scale fan events are scheduled to take place in Tokyo in November 2026.

Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026) will be held on November 7 and 8 in the Ikebukuro area, centered around Sunshine City. The event features various collaborations, including promotional activities for the TV anime ‘Unmei no Makimodoshi’ and a collaboration with ‘Nyandere’ at Marion Crepe WACCA Ikebukuro. The festival includes open stages at Sunshine City and various city-wide campaigns for attendees.

Additionally, SPA!FES 2026, an urban circuit idol festival organized by Weekly SPA!, is set for November 14. The event will feature over 70 idol groups performing across three venues: Spotify O-WEST, duo MUSIC EXCHANGE, and SHIBUYA RING. The festival includes a competition titled ‘Live Idol Super Decisive Battle!!’, where groups compete for magazine appearances and main stage performance rights through sales and voting.
