Institutional investors increase stakes in Weyerhaeuser, MSCI, and other major corporations

Various institutional investors have made significant adjustments to their equity holdings across several sectors according to recent SEC filings and market reports.

Wellington Management Group LLP increased its position in Weyerhaeuser Company by 14.3% in the second quarter, bringing its total ownership to over 43 million shares valued at approximately $1.04 billion. Similarly, Valueworks LLC established a new position in MBIA, Inc., purchasing over 1.9 million shares valued at roughly $12.8 million.

In the technology sector, United Capital Financial Advisors LLC acquired 18,737 shares of MSCI Inc, a position valued at approximately $10.49 million. Other major firms, including BlackRock Inc. and Bamco Inc. NY, also reported significant new stakes in MSCI during the second quarter.

In the construction sector, Kingsview Wealth Management LLC purchased 133,997 shares of KBR, Inc., valued at about $4.6 million. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola has seen its stock price rise by 28% in 2026, reaching nearly $90 per share. This price surge has resulted in a compression of its dividend yield from 2.9% to approximately 2.4%, despite a 4% increase in the annual cash dividend.
