Major Roberto Rampino to lead Carabinieri Company in Brindisi

Major Roberto Roberto Rampino is set to take command of the Carabinieri Company in Brindisi starting September 18, 2026. He succeeds Major Pasquale Penna, who is transferring to Milan.

A native of Lecce, Rampino has served in the Carabinieri since 1998. His career includes various command roles in Calabria and experience at the NORM in Francavilla Fontana. He previously led the Policoro Company and has received recognition for his service, including a bronze medal for civil merit following a rescue operation during a flood in 2003 and investigative work against 'ndrangheta organizations in Crotone.
