Denmark sees major road closures, a large recycling‑station fire and a YouTuber’s cancer diagnosis

From 22 June to early July, a section of Kløverprisvej in Avedøre will be completely closed to traffic while HOFOR carries out extensive underground work; partial restrictions will remain until 27 July.

At the same time, Vejdirektoratet begins resurfacing a nine‑kilometre stretch of Vejlevej near Hald Ege on 19 June, a project slated to last about four weeks.

In Faxe, a massive fire broke out on a 2 000‑cubic‑metre pile of waste at the local recycling station on 16 June. Roughly 60 emergency personnel, including volunteers, have been battling the blaze, which is expected to continue burning into the following day but poses no immediate risk to nearby residents.

Separately, Danish YouTuber Daniel Klink Nørremark, known as Dingo, announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with stage‑4 glioma brain cancer and will start chemotherapy and radiation next week, urging his followers to share any information that might help his treatment.
