Majur celebrates Municipality Day with commemorations

The Municipality of Majur celebrated its Municipality Day with a formal session of the Municipal Council and ceremonies to honor victims of the Homeland War. During the event, wreaths were laid and candles were lit at a memorial site to commemorate those killed during the 1991 conflict.

Sisak-Moslavina County Prefect Ivan Celjak attended the ceremony, expressing his commitment to improving the quality of life and security in the region to encourage residents to remain in their birthplace. Municipal Mayor Klementina Karanović presented completed local projects and issued awards to various individuals and associations for their contributions to the community.
