MAK museum hosts Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry exhibition

The MAK museum is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Glanzstücke’, which features a dialogue between high jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels and approximately 500 objects from the MAK collection.

Rather than a conventional display of gemstones in vitrines, the exhibition juxtaposes jewelry creations with diverse items including textiles, ceramics, furniture, fashion, and graphic designs from the Wiener Werkstätte. This presentation aims to highlight shared visual languages, such as geometric rhythms and floral motifs, across different media and eras.
