Makassar Mayor Munafri Arifuddin joins Democratic Party

Makassar Mayor Munafri Arifuddin, also known as Appi, has officially joined the South Sulawesi Democratic Party after receiving his membership card.

Fatma Wahyuddin, Secretary of the Makassar Democratic Party Branch and Chairperson of the South Sulawesi Democratic Party Faction, stated that Appi's entry is expected to strengthen the party's political base. The party leadership expressed optimism that his political experience and leadership capacity will help increase Democratic Party legislative seats and improve their prospects in regional head elections (Pilkada) across South Sulawesi.
