Makassar selected as one of 10 cities for GSIH Global Hub 2026

Makassar has been selected as one of 10 Indonesian cities to participate in the Garuda Spark Innovation Hub (GSIH) Global Hub 2026. The program, launched by the Ministry of Communication and Digital, aims to accelerate national digital transformation and connect local potential to global innovation networks.

Mayor of Makassar Munafri Arifuddin attended the official launch in Tangerang, noting that the initiative aligns with the goals of the Makassar Creative Hub. He emphasized that the digital ecosystem requires shared responsibility among government and various stakeholders to foster innovation, digital talent development, and technology-based MSMEs.
