Maker’s Mark unveils exclusive World Wood Collection

Maker’s Mark has unveiled the inaugural release of its World Wood Collection, titled Expedition 01. This travel retail-exclusive bourbon combines three distinct oak finishes from three continents: Japanese Mizunara, French oak, and American white oak. Each whisky undergoes individual finishing before being blended into a single expression.

The limited-edition 1-litre bottle, which has an ABV of 47.5% and a suggested retail price of $85, is launching this month through Avolta at five international airports: New York John F. Kennedy, London Heathrow, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, Perth, and Bengaluru Kempegowda. A wider rollout in travel retail is expected in February 2027.

This launch is part of a broader strategy by Suntory Global Spirits to expand Maker’s Mark’s presence in the ultra-premium whisky segment, following the earlier release of the Maker’s Mark Artist Series – City Edition.
