Makerz launches ultra-thin semi-solid wireless power bank

Makerz Co., Ltd., a new business venture wholly owned by Keyence Corporation, has launched the ‘SOLIDZ Power Bank Model QT’, its first wireless charging mobile battery model. The device features an ultra-thin design with a thickness of 6.8mm.

The product utilizes semi-solid batteries to address safety concerns common in traditional thin mobile batteries, where increasing energy density often compromises stability. By significantly reducing the proportion of liquid electrolyte, these semi-solid batteries are designed to resist ignition even during extreme physical damage, such as being pierced by nails, cut with an axe, or run over by a vehicle.

The Model QT is available for purchase through the Makerz online store and Amazon Japan. The product lineup also includes various other SOLIDZ branded accessories, such as high-durability USB-C cables and different capacity power bank models.
