Beauty professionals and editors are highlighting specific techniques and products to improve concealer application and skin appearance.

To prevent concealer from creasing in fine lines, NARS makeup artist Vincent Ford recommends a two-step method using both a color-correcting concealer—utilizing peach, pink, or yellow tones to neutralize dark circles—and a regular concealer to match the skin tone. He suggests using a small, fluffy brush and examining the skin while smiling to identify exact crease points.

Additionally, the brand Vieve has released the Skin Nova Concealer, a product designed to replace foundation by incorporating skincare ingredients. The formula includes Persian silk tree, holy herb extracts, collagen amino acids, and polyglutamic acid. Clinical trials indicated that the product could increase skin brightness by 48% and elasticity by 14% over a 28-day period.
