Maki Goto to perform special live set at FC Tokyo match

FC Tokyo has announced that singer and entertainer Maki Goto will appear as a special guest at their upcoming J1 League match against Nagoya Grampus. The game is scheduled for September 19 at the MUFG Stadium (National Stadium).

Goto, a former member of the idol group Morning Musume who debuted in 1999, will perform a special live set around 18:40, prior to the match kickoff. In a video message, she expressed her excitement to perform for a Tokyo-based club, noting her roots in Edogawa, Tokyo.

The announcement has generated significant social media buzz among fans, many of whom noted her long-standing career and recent successes in music and modeling. Club legend Naohiro Ishikawa also expressed enthusiasm for the guest selection.
