Makkah Health Cluster expands wellness units in Al-Takhassusi and Al-Quoz

The Makkah Health Cluster is expanding its preventive and proactive healthcare approach by establishing wellness units within primary healthcare centers. This initiative aims to shift the focus from treating diseases to promoting health, prevention, and improving quality of life.

Recent developments include the opening of a wellness unit at the Al-Takhassusi Primary Healthcare Center and the inauguration of a new unit at the Al-Quoz Primary Healthcare Center, which is affiliated with the South Al-Qunfudhah General Hospital. The opening at Al-Takhassusi was attended by Dr. Hatem bin Ahmed Al-Omari, CEO of the Makkah Health Cluster.

These units offer a multidisciplinary range of services, including lifestyle medicine, health coaching, nutrition, social services, physical therapy, and mental health. To support health assessments, the units utilize modern technology, such as AI-powered smart devices to evaluate posture and movement, providing detailed reports and QR codes for recommended exercises.
