Makkah Municipality prepares parks and sites for Saudi National Day

The Makkah Municipality has completed its field and operational preparations to welcome residents and visitors for the Saudi National Day celebrations. The municipality has prepared public parks, promenades, squares, and municipal facilities, designating specific sites for celebratory events and programs.

Preparations included ensuring the readiness of squares, pathways, entrances, and exits, as well as maintaining lighting poles and service facilities to enhance public safety and visitor comfort. Municipal sites and public spaces have been decorated with national identities to create a festive atmosphere. Field teams also conducted maintenance on green spaces, including tree pruning, seasonal flower planting, and irrigation system repairs, while inspecting children's playground equipment for safety.

The municipality's public facility network in Makkah includes 294 parks covering over 2 million square meters, 83 squares, 184 playgrounds, and various pedestrian paths and fountains, distributed across residential neighborhoods and main axes.
