Makoto Shinkai’s Your Name returns to Italian cinemas in 4K

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Makoto Shinkai’s acclaimed animated masterpiece, ‘Your Name’, will return to Italian movie theaters on November 23, 24, and 25, 2026. This special screening will feature the film in 4K resolution for the first time.

The event marks the launch of ‘Anime al Cinema’, a new cinematic season by Dynit dedicated to celebrating Japanese animation through beloved titles and previously unseen works on large screens in Italy.

Originally released in 2016, the film follows the interconnected lives of two teenagers, Mitsuha and Taki, who begin to mysteriously swap bodies through their dreams. The story explores themes of destiny, memory, and human connection against the backdrop of a passing comet.
