Mala Hot Pot Chains Launch New Outlets in Kanagawa and Gunma

A new Sichuan‑style mala hot‑pot restaurant, Fukumanja Mala Tang, began a pre‑opening trial at a site near Kamifukuoka Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. The venue ran an opening‑sale from August 8 to August 12, offering a 32 % discount on all hot‑pot ingredients, and started regular all‑you‑can‑eat and drink‑all‑you‑can‑drink service on August 13.

Another specialty shop, Wan Wan Mala Tang Takasaki, is scheduled to open on August 8 in the Takasaki Chuo‑Ginza arcade in Gunma Prefecture. The shop will operate from early morning until 6 a.m., allowing customers to choose from more than 100 ingredient options for its beef‑bone broth hot pot. Both openings expand the presence of mala hot‑pot concepts in regional Japanese markets.
