Malaga CF signs Adam Aznou on loan from Everton

Malaga CF has completed the acquisition of 20-year-old Moroccan left-back Adam Aznou on a one-year loan from Everton. The deal does not include an option or right for Malaga to purchase the player, as Everton intends to retain his rights while monitoring his development.

During the loan period, Malaga CF will cover the majority of the player's salary. Aznou, who was born in Barcelona, has a diverse professional background, having developed in the Barcelona youth academy before moving to Bayern Munich. He has previously made appearances for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League, and has also played for Valladolid.

On the international stage, Aznou represents the Moroccan senior national team, having made his debut in 2024. Former La Masia director Jordi Roura praised the signing, noting Aznou's technical quality and physical attributes, while suggesting that Malaga provides an ideal environment for the young defender to establish himself in professional football.
