Malagón celebrates agricultural heritage with fruit and vegetable contest

In Malagón, the traditional Fruit and Vegetable Contest was held at the Plaza de la Cruz Verde as part of the local Feria y Fiestas. The event showcased various local produce, including tomatoes, grapes, zucchini, peppers, melons, and beans, highlighting the region's agricultural heritage.

Mayor Adrián Fernández Herguido presented awards to participants, recognizing categories such as the most original proposal, tradition over time, and best presentation. The contest, supported by AFAMMER Malagón, aims to honor the work of local farmers and maintain the town's historical connection to agriculture.
