Malahat SkyWalk to host inaugural Brewfest

The Malahat SkyWalk has announced its inaugural SkyWalk Brewfest, a Vancouver Island craft beer and cider festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature 10 local producers offering more than 30 craft beverage selections, including non-alcoholic options. Participating producers include Vancouver Island Brewing, Deadhead Brew Co., Hoyne Brewing, Merridale Cidery & Distillery, Red Arrow Brewing, Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse, Brass Monkey Brewing & Taproom, Driftwood Brewery, Serious Brewing Company, and Ace Brewing Company.

In addition to beverage tastings, attendees can sample fall-inspired food and enjoy music from DJ Island Rob. Transportation packages are available from Victoria and Cowichan, which include shuttle service, admission, a festival wristband, and four tasting tokens.
