Malakai Black announced for PROGRESS Wrestling September tour

Malakai Black has been announced for a series of appearances with PROGRESS Wrestling as part of ‘The Odyssey Tour’ in September. The former NXT and AEW World Trios Champion will compete in three shows: September 4 in Edinburgh at the Corn Exchange, September 5 in Leeds at the 02 Academy, and September 6 in Manchester at the 02 Ritz.

Black, who previously competed for the UK-based promotion under the name Tommy End, was released by WWE in April following roster cuts. This return marks his first venture into the independent wrestling scene since his departure. While specific opponents have not been confirmed, the promotion has teased that Black returns with championship aspirations.

PROGRESS Wrestling was recently acquired in May by former WWE and NXT stars Big Damo and Nikki Cross.
