Malakai Black returns to the ring following WWE departure

Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE, has officially returned to professional wrestling. Following his release from WWE in April, Black competed in his first match since the departure on August 22.

The match took place at the Dark Arts Gym, his own wrestling school, where he secured a victory against J. Villa. Despite a nearly five-month hiatus from the ring, reports indicate that Black appeared in excellent physical condition and maintained his signature offensive style.

This appearance serves as a precursor to his scheduled return to PROGRESS Wrestling. Black is set to face Donovan Dijak in Edinburgh on September 4, marking the official start of his new career chapter outside of WWE.
