Malargüe hosts 7th National Futsal Tournament for athletes with Down Syndrome

The city of Malargüe hosted the 7th edition of the Fut 21 Circuit National Argentine Tournament, a futsal competition specifically for athletes with Down Syndrome. Held at the Municipal Polideportivo, the event brought together more than 140 athletes from 14 different delegations across Argentina.

The tournament followed official indoor futsal rules, including professional refereeing and standard match durations, rather than adapted football formats. The event was organized by the Empate Foundation and Empate Mendoza, with institutional support from the Argentine Federation of Sports for Athletes with Down Syndrome (FADASD) and the Mendoza Futsal Federation (FEFUSA).
