Malargüe launches initiative to digitize local Cuyana poetry
The municipality of Malargüe has launched an initiative to preserve and promote regional identity through the presentation of a new collection of Cuyana poetry and song. During the “Café Literario de la Identidad y el Alma” event held at the José Hernández Municipal and Popular Library, a work was presented that compiles the research and expressions of local authors.
This project, organized by the Malargüe branch of the Argentine Society of Writers (SADE) and the local Heritage Conservation Coordination, aims to rescue local voices and provide cultural resources for the community. A key component of the initiative is the creation of a digital book that will be made available on the official Malargüe Municipality website. This digital version is intended to serve as a practical educational tool for teachers and students, addressing the current difficulty in accessing specific regional literary materials in secondary education.
