Malatang specialty restaurants expand in Tsurugashima and Yokkaichi

New Malatang specialty restaurants are expanding in Japan. In Tsurugashima, Saitama, Shifuku Malatang Wakaba is scheduled to open on August 10, 2026, located one minute from Wakaba Station. The establishment offers a variety of ingredients including vegetables, mushrooms, meat, and seafood in a spicy Sichuan-style soup. To celebrate the opening, the shop will offer discounts of 30% for the first three days and 20% for the following two days.

In Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, the international chain Yang Guo Fu Malatang is set to open in early October at the former site of the restaurant Imonchu in the Ichibangai shopping district. This marks the brand's first appearance in the Tokai region. The chain, which operates over 7,000 stores globally, allows customers to customize their meals using more than 20 types of authentic seasonings and over 70 different ingredients.
