Malatya Chamber of Commerce to launch apricot working platform
Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, President of the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO), has announced plans to establish the ‘Apricot Working Platform’ to support the regional apricot sector.
During a visit to the 15 Temmuz Şehitleri Şire Market, Sadıkoğlu met with local merchants and tradesmen to discuss industry challenges and expectations. He emphasized the need for a sustainable economic structure where all participants in the supply chain—including producers, merchants, and exporters—can achieve profitability.
Sadıkoğlu noted that the market serves as a vital commercial hub for Malatya’s economy and that the MTSO intends to shape its initiatives based on direct feedback from the business community rather than through desk-based planning.
