Malatya EkoVizyon Project to be presented at international congress

The EkoVizyon Idea Marathon Project, developed by the Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education R&D Unit, has gained international scientific recognition. A scientific paper examining the project's educational impact on students has been accepted for a full text presentation and oral session at the International Congress on Sustainable Water Management and Climate Change.

The congress is scheduled to take place in Elazığ from November 11–14, 2026. The study, prepared by Şeyda Nur Halitoğlu from the Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education and Professor Dr. Burhan Akpınar from Fırat University, focuses on increasing environmental awareness and encouraging students to actively participate in developing sustainable solutions.

The project aims to foster a generation of individuals who do not merely acquire information about environmental issues but instead act as researchers and innovators capable of generating solutions for sustainability and climate change challenges.
